New Film Available for Lions Club Presentations

Thanks to the Lions Board, the Lions Eye Bank now has a new film of Lion Shirley Jacobs, sharing her experience as a corneal transplant recipient.  To schedule a program and/or showing of the film, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Paul Held at 614/545/2095.

Eye Bank to receive $133,000 for eye research project

Working with researchers at Vision Optimization, the Eye Bank will participate in a project to help develop and use a new instrument for detecting previous refractive surgery in potential eye donors.  The grant funding will be received during 2010-11, and support staffing, supplies, and data collection related to the research.
